Project Proposals for Registered Canadian Charities
2026 Grant Application
The Lithuanian Canadian Foundation (LCF) provides funding to support charitable projects that promote Lithuanian culture, heritage, and community initiatives.
Funding is available to registered Canadian charities, or their direct affiliates, for specific charitable projects that align with the Foundation’s mission.
Application Dates
Applications are accepted during two submission periods:

Application Period 1: Deadline — March 15, 2026

Application Period 2: Deadline — September 15, 2026
Applicants will be notified of funding decisions within approximately six weeks following each deadline.
Projects should take place during 2026 or within the first three months of 2027.
Eligibility Overview

Applicants must be registered Canadian charities or eligible affiliates

Projects must be charitable in nature and promote Lithuanian cultural or community purposes

Social-only events and athletic or sports-related activities are not eligible for funding
How to Apply
Applications must be submitted electronically and include all required forms.
If approved, a Memorandum of Understanding must be completed before funds are released.
