Project Proposals for LCF Member Organizations
The Lithuanian Canadian Foundation (LCF) is a registered Canadian charity that supports projects promoting Lithuanian cultural and charitable purposes in Canada, Lithuania, and worldwide.
Funding is available to Lithuanian Canadian organizations that are members of LCF for specific, well-defined charitable projects.
2026 Project Proposals
Application Dates
Project Proposals must be submitted electronically during one of the following periods:

Application Period 1: Deadline — March 15, 2026

Application Period 2: Deadline — September 15, 2026
Projects should be planned to take place during 2026 or within the first three months of 2027.
Applicants will be notified of funding decisions within approximately six weeks following each submission deadline.
Eligibility Overview

Applicants must be Lithuanian Canadian organizations that are LCF members

Projects must promote Lithuanian cultural and/or charitable purposes

Projects must be charitable in nature under Canadian law
Funding is not available for:

Sports or athletic clubs

Events whose sole purpose is social activity
Additional Information

Organizations that received LCF funding in 2025 must submit documentation by January 31, 2026, confirming that funds were used as intended

Organizations receiving funding may be required to provide participant lists for event-based projects

Public acknowledgement of LCF funding is required

Approved organizations must sign a contract or agreement with LCF before funds are released
